MODULE 4:TIME MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS

Time is indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present and future. Time also a plan, schedule or arrange when should happen or be done. While time management is the ability to use one time effectively and productively especially at work. As a student, we really need to know how to manage the time well because we going to have a lot of things to do in a short time. If we know how to manage our time, we can get enough sleep, submit assignment on time and score in examinations. Stress also will not attack so you can enjoy your daily life. 

5 study system strategies:


Perfectionist is one of the reason why of procrastination. Perfectionist person start their work early but they unsatisfied with the work. At last, they done the work at eleventh hour. Other than perfectionist, lazy also one of the reason to procrastination. Why? Because they always postpone their work and done it after the date that need to submit. Lazy also can lead to stress because they need to do the work in rush. Being rebellious and feeling overwhelmed are two of the reason why procrastination happen to student. So please be careful of your time.

So how we as a student want to avoid procrastination?

The way to avoid procrastination is remember back your goal. Goal is the thing that can make us excited to achieve what we really want in life. So if we want to achieve it, we need to avoid procrastination. Also, we need to alert of the deadline of the assignment so that we never forget to do it before the deadline. Moreover, prioritized also use to avoid procrastination. Other than that, we need to give self-reward to ourselves when we already done the assignment. Why need? Because human love gift or reward. So they feel excited to continue their work because they going to get another gift.

MODULE 2:GOAL SETTING

Goals is an object of a person’s ambition or effort, an aim or desired result. Goals also known as objective or target. In varsity life, goals are really needed because this help to motivate student to do work, attend classes and study for exam. When student had been motivated so their academic performance will be improved for every semester.

1.       What I really want to achieve is I want to understand well in every subject so that I can get 3.5         pointer and above every semester. It’s easy for me to apply any of job from my achievement and I really hope that I can get job with high salary. So, I can fulfill my parents hope with my own salary.

2.      The obstacles to achieve what I really want is my character that introvert and lack of confident. So every class, I really scare to give my opinion and involve in everything. If I need to present a presentation I have no confident to talk in front of many people. This block me to get any job because confident is very important in work life and it also block me to show my ability to lead some of the project in university and at work.

3.       The resources of my goals is of course my parents. They really give me the spirit to achieve everything in my life. Besides that, they always support me for what I want to be. Furthermore, they never degrade me and they also appreciate what I have done before this and now. I really thanks to god for having them in my life.

MODULE 1:GETTING READY TO LEARN

GEARING UP FOR UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE ACADEMICS


The differences between school and college academics:

·         You spend less time in class
·         You have more reading
·         You have fewer test
·         You might live and study in the same place
·         Instructors don't tell you exactly what on the test
·         More team/group assignments with meetings outside of class
·         Attendance may not be required
·         No extensions on due dates
·         Participation affects grades
·         Fewer reasons for excused absences
·         You are responsible for your own learning and behavior
·         You only have a certain instructor for a few months
·         Instructors don't tell you exactly what notes to take
·         You can drop a class
·         Instructors may not be trained in education
·         You may have a TA or GA as an instructor
·         You may have an international instructor
·         Lecture and readings may not overlap
·         You may be living in your own for the first time


 How do I set up my game ?



As a human, we need to get ready for every situation because we need to facing school life, university life and work life. So, we need to be strong physically and mentally.
